What is Trust Trail?
The Trust Trail is ClickCatalyst's evidence log: for every finding and recommendation, a traceable record of exactly which checks ran on the account data, what they measured, and which thresholds triggered the verdict.
Why it matters
Most audit tools output conclusions; agencies then have to defend those conclusions to clients. The Trust Trail exists so that no number in a ClickCatalyst report is authored by an AI or asserted without lineage — every figure traces back to a deterministic query and a stated threshold.
How ClickCatalyst detects it
Each audit finding carries its evidence: the data source (Google Ads API and GA4 tables), the exact condition that fired (for example "486 clicks, 0 sales, spend above the currency-adaptive zombie threshold"), and the recommended action with its confidence class.
This is a design principle as much as a feature: the deterministic pipeline is the source of truth, and language models are only ever used to narrate numbers that already exist — never to produce them.
Example
When a report says "Protection is on" or "$431/month zombie burn", the Trust Trail shows the query, the rows, and the threshold behind that exact claim — which is what makes white-label reports client-defensible.
